Whimsical Wednesday!

Who's ready to get their whimsical Wednesday fix?!

Prince of Wolves by Quinn Loftis
Pages:238
Jacque Pierce was just an ordinary 17 year old girl getting ready to start her senior year in high school in Coldspring, Texas. When a mysterious foreign exchange student from Romania moves in across the street, Jacque and her two best friends, Sally and Jen, don’t realize the last two weeks of their summer was going to get a lot more interesting. From the moment Jacque sets eyes on Fane she feels an instant connection, a pull like a moth to a flame. Little does she know that the flame she is drawn to is actually a Canis Lupus, werewolf, and she just happens to be his mate; the other half of his soul. The problem is Fane is not the only wolf in Coldspring, Texas. Just as Fane and Jacque are getting to know each other, another wolf steps out to try and claim Jacque as his mate. Fane will now have to fight for the right to complete the mating bond, something that is his right by birth but is being denied him by a crazed Alpha. Will the love Fane has for Jacque be enough to give him the strength to defeat his enemy, will Jacque accept that she is Fane’s mate and complete the bond between them?

My Thoughts

Prince of Wolves was a book that I stumbled upon. I’m constantly looking for good books that are low priced. I happened to find this one and absolutely fell in love with it. Bonus it was free and still is. It is the first installment to The Grey Wolves Series. Quinn Loftis has become one of my favorite authors, I’m constantly checking out her website to see her latest books. I have money saved just for her books. But lets get back to Prince of Wolves. It starts of with humor and let me tell you, you will laugh throughout the whole book. I was constantly laughing, while my family kept giving me looks but I didn't care I was in the zone! Jacque has two best friends, Sally and Jen, that are constantly cracking jokes. In this book, you see that Sally and Jen stay with Jacque through it all. Which we all could appreciate. I love my girlfriends and to see her girlfriends stay with her made me extremely happy. Let’s get to the hunk, Fane. Completely swoon worthy. Talk about book boyfriend! You will automatically love Fane. He’s fierce, yet gentle when it comes to Jacque. I mean who wouldn’t want that. (If you don't, you’re crazy!) One thing I absolutely loved about this book was that their relationship wasn’t a roller coaster of ups and downs. It wasn’t about one of them failing and the other having to pick them up or take them back. It was about them fighting for each other. Whether physically or emotionally. It was an overall great read. It had me laughing, crying, and laughing some more. Even if you think you wont like this book just get it. It’s free. I mean why not. Right? Plus, you will fall in love with it. It does leave off with a cliffhanger but it’s worth it because the second book gets even better. Pick it up,
